We're helping more Mississippians get to and through college.
The Woodward Hines Education Foundation, formerly the Education Services Foundation, works with a range of public, private, and philanthropic partners to improve college access, persistence, and completion for Mississippians. We helped the organization develop its brand identity and strategic communications plan as they transitioned into a grantmaking organization. We have also supported communications around the scaling of Get2College, the flagship program of the foundation.
Insight.
According to the Georgetown University Center for Education and the Workforce, 65 percent of all jobs in the economy will require postsecondary education and training beyond high school by 2020. In order for Mississippi to compete, the state has to increase the number of people with college degrees, credentials, and certificatesĀ andĀ shift the economy to support high-skill jobs.
Innovation.
We have been working closely with the Woodward Hines Education Foundation to redefine how a foundation works with its partners to solve complex problems, focusing on ways to provide mutual benefit and added value through communications activities. One example is the foundation’s new partnership with the Mississippi Business Journal to produce the 2017 NEXT!: A Guide to Life After High School, which provided a new distribution channel and opened the doors to build relationships with new partners across the state.
